Pretty pumped to be honest. I thoroughly enjoyed the first two so far. Both were solid 8.5/10 games. Not groundbreaking in anyway but all round decent action/adventure stories. For someone a bit older too like myself it's a decent game you can pick up for 30mins to 2hrs after work managing to both de-stress and still use your brain only a moderate amount. And desu, that's mostly all I ask for in games these days.

Is globetrotting too much to ask in a fucking Tomb Raider game?
Also using the exact same tools in Rise was disappointing as fuck. Like, the bow again, and no dual wielding pistols? I'd love the next game to not keep the supernatural elements until the very end and maybe give Lara some cool gadgets based on ancient technology to use as weapons and for puzzle solving.

But of course if this game gets made it will be set on a single location (again), where Lara has to whine and survive (again), prominently using the bow (again), with nothing interesting happening until the last 20 minutes with a disappointing final boss (again).

What do you guys want in a third game?

I want them to revamp the weapon system. RotTR's weapon system was dumb, you'd have several types of guns with different stat types that don't really mean anything and making hard to focus your upgrades.

I think I want a bit more 'survival' in the game. Like being able to set up and maintain a base camp with collected resources would be great. A hub you could return to between missions would be nice. More uses for resources would be great as well.

I want fewer time-based or skill based tombs to be honest. I hated that final tomb in RotTR in the Baba Yaga DLC where some of the collectibles were so difficult to get. I'm getting too old for this shit.

A grappling gun cannot be used the same way as a normal pistol you know. Same shit with a flate pistol. Different receivers and all. Meanwhile with a bow, you can strap all sorts of mechanical doohickies on the frame and will work as long as the bow string doesnt snap.
