It's a good expansion on the game WoW has been since 2010, but the problem is the game WoW has been since 2010 is a shitty MMORPG. The raiding/pvp skinnerbox is still well made, but thats just not enough for a game to be fun.

The developers either moved on or went full retard, classes and stats became samey, gold fucking skyrocketed, and people's main interest now is playing dress-up. Ace Combat is a flight sim (although arcadeified), even is point at target, set orbit and occassionally shoot when you can. It's very boring in small scale, it does work large scale though were there is a need to target switch.

Completely untrue. If you just do all your weekly stuff (every raid + one weekly +10 + your 4 wq's a day) you get a legendary every week reliably. If you don't have you BiS legos by this point there is no one to blame but yourself.

It's a shitty system, but if you actually play the game the problem is over.

On release once you obtained a second legendary you no longer received the daily increase to legendary drop rates and it sat at the default 0.01 drop rate for a good month or two.
Was like this until one of the higher end guilds called them out on it and the thread reached like 2000 pages or some shit. It was actually easier and faster to just roll a new character of the same class and hope your free legendary was one of the good ones since Artifact knowledge was so low.

Gearing an alt is ok, but followers can take months to get to 900 now, gonna be worse with ToS, not needed but your gonna be behind from raid quests and elite missons,

Level scaling, world quests and M+ are the best additions for late game content in years, may be repetitive but its nice to have the world active and dungeons not pointless.
AP seems to be sorted in terms of reaching 52 ia all you'll really need anything beyond is relativley neglible.

MMOs need good world pvp and need to be grindy. Flying mounts, press button to queue for dungeon, be done with everything in less than a month, all those things killed the game.

MMOs will never be good again until someone who realizes that community and high amount of work towards rewards make MMOs enjoyable.

Literally a good thing in my book desu, I hated how easy it was to maintain 10 characters in WoD. It killed investment in individual characters and made ridiculous numbers of split raids the norm at high levels of raiding.

Cancer. All scaling should be gone from the game. Enemies in RPG should have hardcoded health/damage. Difficulty modes, scaling to # of players, scaling to level are all retarded and ruin the feeling of the world.

Could have been great, but instead of making rewards scale with level they made them cap out. A good M+ system would have you constantly pushing the highest keys you could. Instead that's just a novelty, and the majority of M+ gameplay is grinding easy keys and hoping to get lucky on titanforge.

Tell me when the next expansion is out. You know, the one that will forget about the artifact weapon, make it to where the game isn't World of Diablo with a shit legendary system, not be the most alt unfriendly expansion ever, and the abilities that every class lost will return and won't be tied to shitty pvp talents.

This isn't even a bad thing though. Blizzard could have easily made them complementary great paths. M+ could be a great source of high ilvl offset pieces and relics, while Mythic raiding will always be super important because of tier gear and raid trinkets (barring the EN disaster)

It's not slightly higher, it would end up being 30-40 ilvls higher than mythic gear and I think this expac has nicely shown how much of a retarded DPS difference 30-40 ilvls can make. The system was always going to need a cap and all you're doing with no cap is making people farm them even more even though they are pretty fucking dull.

Obviously it wouldnt go higher than the titanforge cap, which means at the VERY HIGHEST difficulty, which would probably be somewhere in the 30s(higher than anyone has done yet), it would be dropping gear about 15 ilvls higher than mythic end boss loot. That's nice, but it's hardly game breaking.

Except pushing keys isn't dull? The only time I've enjoyed M+ was doing my 10 the very first week when it was new and somewhat challenging, and pushing a +23 key the first week of 7.2 when we thought it was worth it for the extra AP in the weekly chest. Pushing keys is challenging and fun, farming low level keys is fucking mind numbing.

There is no very highest difficulty, this is where the issue is, they'd need to completely rejig their scaling system to make it work which just shows its flawed at the core. 15 ilvls higher than Mythic raids is next tier warforged heroic item level, that just means that unless tier sets are exceptionally powerful all gear will be dungeon gear.

It just wont work.

I certainly agree with you that if you're going to have this system that scales then you should always be rewarded most for doing the highest level that you can. I just can't see how raising the cap above what you'll get for comparatively more time consuming and challenging content can really be the answer.
I'd rather see the system be curved to a cap equal to mythic gear based on an expected completeable key level where the end of the curve is significantly more weighted for good item level i.e +15 drops 875 but +20 drops 890.
Too bad this fucks new players hard because blizzard love to kill the prior raid tier they released every single fucking time now.
