I've played a lot of squad based third person shooters, some good (Binary Domain), some bad (the entire Gears trilogy and Spec Ops The Line)

None of those games compete with this

Paradox games in general. They have a nice mix between autistic and casual excluding HoI4 that went full retard. But they have the worst DLC policy of any game company I know in that the games come out half finished and take 4 mandatory 15$ DLC to make playable. To add to that they have straight stated if paid mods become semi viable they are on board which is a disaster since their games run on mods. EvW

They should've labeled the game free to try instead of free to play. Its got mixed reviews because of literal casuals downloading the game and getting pissed they cant drift Ferraris with an Xbox controller. Its a 10/10 racing game and one of the best in the sim genre.

Street Fighter V. Love is a strong word, but the game itself is pretty fun.

The UI is horrible and everything about Capcom's handling of it is an utter clusterfuck, but the fighting is fun. And Laura, Ed and Kolin are all rad additions to Street Fighter.

Yes it is. Played it a lot back then. It improved almost everything from the first one and added more. I especially like how you almost must subdue an enemy bloodlessly to get his uniform in order to infiltrate the secret lab... or you can do it the fun way.

This is an alright game, but I enjoy ARMA more because it's the true sequel to Operation Flashpoint. OFP: Dragon Rising was too much like Call of Duty and not a simulator like the og OFP.

OFP indeed is the goat.
ArmA1 did a good job to try and capture the feelings of OFP, but ArmA2 didnt so much and the game went to more openworld espiceally in the final missions.
ArmA2:OA was great and the DLC'S were awsome (PMC was COD like but still was good).
the whole ArmA series is great in my eyes, but that dosnt mean OFP2 deserve the shit it got from the ArmA community.

I still have it installed and once in a blue moon there comes a 7GB patch for it. Whatever the devs are doing doing, I commend them for not giving up on their game even after all this time. If only Mordheim and Battlefleet Gothic had devs as dedicated to their games.

Ni no Kuni, I don't get the hate for it here. Its an extremely charming game with nice music, characters, and story. Everything involving Oliver and his mom was heart-wrenching to me as well. It looks great and has great art direction.Combat was basically auto-attack shit you see in FFXII and Xenoblade, where you do commands with your familiars. I blame autists who want every game to be a button masher.

Neo-Paris is still one of the best looking environments in any video game and I fucking loved the French voiceacting and the game's soundtrack.

The game deserves criticism for being too linear and not leaving enough room for exploration but /v/ shitting on the game because the main character is not white and retards complaining about the battle system really grinds my gears. I really liked building my own complicated 7-key combos and mastering them but everytime I saw someone play this game they would just mash a single button and then complain when they got destroyed.

It's a linear ass creed. Good presentation, but no substance. I liked the memory editing sequences conceptually, but they were a clunky mess from a gameplay perspective.
