Yes it will actually! I've done it before. You just need to make sure you have your microphone plugged into a computer, setting "Listen to this device" selected. Then plugging THAT device only the microphone jack for conrroller. It has to go through the computer first. Yes, plug it in to your computer as if you were plugging it into speakera, but plug it into the headphone jack for controller.

Trust me. It works.
