I spent the last four months of 2016 downloading custom content and creating my own, and adjusting sims and lots to perfection. And I spent only 2 days playing before I got bored.

This is now a thread about making characters. I think the hallmark of a good game is a robust character creation/customization suite.

I picked X-Com back up, I haven't played it since I beat it shortly after release. Now I can customize my old characters and make them VIPs in my Long War 2 play through

You don't. A lot of people play sims just building houses too. Create more characters to Sims 1 music, you won't regret it.
