What do u think about https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Imprinting_(psychology)#Baby_duck_syndrome relatively to video-games?
I mean such things as nintendo-faggotry or infinity-engine rpgs cult which are very common nowdays
Why do you think people are still on /v/

So, is this an official term for a Nintenkiddie?
I grew up with a PS1 and a PS2. And while I still love them, I think the OG Xbox is the best console, and PC is overall the greatest way to play.
Why do Nintendo users fall for this shit? I do have Nintendo consoles and I never thought they were anything standout. Not even their apparently great libraries.

Is this where you learn to enjoy what you have when you're young?
I suppose it makes sense.
I don't understand console fanboyism tho.

Not necessarily so. Nin-kids are just a very common example. But I think it applies to all these 'old games were better now industry is f*cked and we all are going to die soon' moaning.. Many kickstarter projects, gog and all these vintage pixel-themed games obviously are fed on this syndrome

I mean you just have to look at MN9 for proof. I don't know why MM fans can't just be happy with what they have. Any other game series would be lucky to get a 10th of that love
