There's a few in Noki Bay that have you shooting water at random walls to get them to appear.

Galaxy 1 gave us all the assets, all the music, all the creativity, all the story, the characters, the charm, the space ambience

Galaxy 2 gave us the same fucking shit, but amped the creativity in the levels. And swapped the space tone for wacky 3D World levels.

How can people give more credit to galaxy 2 is beyond me. It has great levels but it's not like it completely overshadows 1. 1 has way more going for it overall and leaves you with a satisfying mainline mario experience with a gigantic beginning and ending, while galaxy 2 feels like literal dlc

It IS literal DLC. It was supposed to be "More Galaxy" as an expansion pack for Galaxy 1. Too bad the Wii didn't have native DLC support and Miyamoto just had to be a fucking jew and be all "muh story in muh Mario" with Rosalina.

I'm replaying it now and I'm finding the inverted camera obnoxious as shit. I didn't find it that annoying in 64 probably because you used it much more in Sunshine, with shooting and moving the camera so much more.

SMG2 generally had better level design, but it lacked the atmosphere of the first game and the settings were cooler in SMG 1. I also dislike how much mini-game shit SMG2 had.
SMG2 is basically like a traditional Mario game but with space an excuse to use wacky and creative ideas.
