What if this was the next game though, think about it..
>The Soul Of Ganon lives on (Naturally) from Breath of the wild and seeks out Darunia (Goron Tribe Leader) to possess him and essentially lead the Goron Tribe. The Soul of Darunia is banished to parts unknown.
>Once Possessed, Goron Ganon attempts to convince the Goron tribe that Hyrule cannot fall if they control it.
>Gorons decide against the decision because of ancient followings, they cannot sacrifice their reputation and throw out their culture in favor of power.
>Goron Ganon finally convinces them that as long as the two spirits of the triforce (Zelda and Link) live then Ganon will too. They are all tired of living in a Hyrule which is constantly under siege of Ganons Rule after all.
>Goron race overthrows Hyrule leadership and is now secretly under Ganon's control yet again.
>Goron Ganon tracks down Link and curses him with Eternal rest. Zelda learns that Darunia is not himself, suspect that Ganon has a hand in the act. She escapes. She is able to reawaken link but must find where he is located.
>You play as Zelda/Sheik. Somewhere along the lines you find the relics like Link's sword and shield, or even the OP Light Arrows toward the end.
>Zelda explores the region of Termina, Temple of Snowhead.
>End of the temple you fight the Spirit of Deceased Darmani from Majora's Mask.
>Darmani is controlled by none-other than Darunia. After defeat, Darunia explains the true body of Darunia is actually possessed by Ganon himself.
>Ganon's possession left him with the ability to inhabit the bodies of others.
>Zelda grants him to follow her through her body.
>With the aid of Darunia, they locate Links body, it is beneath Hyrule.
>More plot and sidequests ensue, you eventually hit the Caverns of Hyrule (Another Temple)
>Fight Link as a mid-game Boss. He is also Possessed by Ganon.
>After defeat, Link is reawakened. Play as link to oppose Goron Race and Ganon Goron.
>Goron Ganon Boss Fight
