Series like Mario and Zelda will never end given how open they are for open they are for milking new entries, and just the nonsensical nature of the story. Pokemon is also like this, but if there were ever a game to just end it all, this be nice cap off from 1995 to 2010.

Technically it did end the series since Nexus wasn't a full fledged entry and the newest title was just a remake of the first game. I personally would have liked to see them continue Ratchets search for his family in later entries, but they basically just abandon that whole concept in Nexus.
