Yeah, I think it's an expansion or complete edition, has more characters. It's in the /hgg2D/ thread on /vg/.

Last game of that kind I remember comimg out is Double Dragon Neon a few years ago. Really, DMC/Bayonetta type games are the natural evolution of the genre and there's basically no reason to make new games like that. It's not like platformers or fighting games where 2D and 3D play differently. If anything was lost, it's co-op. Get that into a Ninja Gaiden type of game and it's godly.
