Are there any guides on how to play and get better on this game? I really like the setting and how it plays but I only ever got to the fifth level or something once, and almost always died at the third of fourth level, and never unlocked anyone besides commando.

Stopped playing because I my controller broke but I want to get back at it with just the keyboard.

Thanks, I'm going to give it a good read, I see that most of the tips are for multiplayer, can I even solo the game on singleplayer? I want to finish it at least once to not weight down other people too much.

You can solo the game, but we play on glass mode
Glass is pretty much impossible solo, so you may as well just join a game whenever you feel comfy doing so and get used to it with us

I'm torn on whether glass makes the game harder or not, especially without honor/smite. You die a lot quicker, but you also kill a lot quicker which is important because of the time = difficulty thing. I'd also advise against joining a /v/ game without at least beating the game once unless you can stomach dying early and observing everyone else 90% of the time.

I can't, I give up. There's no hope left we're already getting 2 Metroid games, that's a miracle within a miracle. But a Metroid Prime game being as good as the others by a dev who isn't Retro? Without their worldbuilding, attention to detail and just everything? I'm sure it'll be good, but it won't be as good as the trilogy.
