They should have kept it, but I can see some merit to the ps2 rereleases they did. It was like what nintendo did with vc. Focused emulation for that single game.

So, what they turned off wasn't the good ps2 bc, it was the shoddy software bc. Still sucks, but worth the distinction.

It happened earlier this gen when MS told Sony and Square to fuck off for suggesting FF14 crossplay, which is why Xbone doesn't have FF14 in the first place
