Yes, Playstation had a streaming service that can play older gen games. But you don't need a console for that. That's built into Sony TVs, or hell, even a Vita TV.

no the casuals want both multiplats and first part. the PlayStation has a variety of first parties. you rarely see a single title getting lots of sales, most of the time people simply get to chose.

some people play TLG and SOTC.
some people play uncharted and TLOU.
some people play BB and Nioh.
some people play Persona 5 and FF.
some people play God of war and yakuza.

that's why the PS4 won the console war. it dosn't rely on a single franchise. because if that franchise doesn't do well (eg HALO) the console is in deep shit.
