Jesus Christ OP no kidding you got terrible taste. People often say the game turns to shit when you get to the aliens. I actually like the aliens and snow part. The problem is how fucking long it drags on after that. I don't care about the story I literally don't give a fuck but it keeps shoving characters and cutscenes into my face. I just want to play.
The UI is a disgusting mess, the fonts, menus, music all look like terrible shit, especially in 3, looks like an eighth grader designed them

One of the novels has an internal fight for control between Prophet and Alcatraz, Alcatraz loses.
But to be honest he would've been dead if it werent for Prophet giving him the suit anyway (Who also kills himself at the beggining of 2 if you dont remember, only the Prophet in the suit remains.

Have to agree with the hivemind OP andsay that Crysis 2 and 3 were completely different games from Crysis 1 and Warhead.

Not even considering the amount of retconning they did, thegameplay and atmosphere are all completely different. It's just the same name and slightly similar core mechanics that connect the franchise.

I loved Crysis 1 and Warhead, can't say as much about Crysis 2 although I still had fun playing it. But it's different games and there's nothing making me really want a new game in the "series"

I always thought that it was the suit's consciousness, not Prophet's. And that Alcatraz pretty much died (by the time they scanned him in the alb he was dead I thought?) and itwas the suit by itself the entire time
