The stake gun from Painkiller is like firing a nerf crossbow compared to this. I'm not even exaggerating. I watched a stream where a dude played the mod for the first time and he flipped out once he tried the nail gun. It really is just like when you're a kid and you try a shotgun or a rocket launcher for the first time and it's just the coolest giddiest fucking thing ever.

Because id made video game perfection all those years ago. To me a true perfect game is a lot more rare than what those gay sites would have you believe.

I also feel older games tend to reach perfection more often because they are more simple thus also easier to perfect. However fun factor is still very important in my eyes for a perfect game and Doom has this down by far.

Perfect FPS games that deserve to be recognized as perfect unlike overrated buggy shit like TLOU for example.

PK stake gun is more satisfying because you actually need to aim it, it's a projectile-based weapon with each projectile being kinda slow and having a drop-off but doing massive damage in exchange. This is just a machinegun that pins sprites to walls. I like it from the video, but I wouldn't say it's better than stake gun.
