OP here, holy shit I didn't know you could cheese him with the shield. Just beat him a few seconds ago, thanks lads.

I just want to say that hunting down those fucking guardians with ancient arrows once you got enough money to reliably buy them en masse is one of the most satisfying things in this game.

I also want to say that figuring out how to beat them with normal weapons after hunting them down first made me feel like an idiot.

I accidentally shot the hanging chest down, what did I miss?
