How do you guys play like this? I finally upgraded to a entry level desktop playing games on high at 30-60fps. Before I had an intel hd 4000 and if I couldnt hit 30-60 on all low at 800x600 I just wouldnt play it and refund. That just absolutely looks awful.

The first computer game I ever played was Command and Conquer Renegade. My computer was total shit, so the game ran at about ~6 fps outside and probably ~2 inside buildings and most of the wall textures didn't load at all, they were just empty wireframes. I beat the entire game playing that way.

To be honest, Im not very smart with photoshop, so hopefully the other guy knows more than me.

I didnt actually touch the saturation. although it might be effected by what im doing. I opened up the levels tool and simply made the whites whiter, the darks darker, and shifted the mid-tones a little.

If you shift between the images really fast it looks like there is a screen of gray over top of the actual game image. Its really bad.

I think Nintendo are experimenting with all the fancy post processing techniques other developers are well accustomed to now, like bloom and filters. WW HD, BotW and MK8 are what gives me this idea.

I was disappointed in a lot with BotW. Shit, I wouldnt even care that everything was so washed out if I had something to do in the game. The first couple hours were great, it soon became very tedious and boring, in my opinion. I even bought an amiibo to get the wind-waker clothing and shield.

But Im way off point. Im not really sure how they didnt catch how washed out it all looked? The entire time I was playing I was able to note it, especially when you're in darker areas. They never felt very dark.

It is fucking terrible. D-pad and left trigger are on some random handle that was never used because you always used the middle grip.

And everything about it makes it a pain in the ass to emulate, because they smushed six bottoms (including the c-buttons) on one side of the controller, so you gotta get creative with the bindings.
