I already have a PC, and I don't need a new one yet because the games which are too new to run on my PC are also too expensive. I can't justify spending more than $5 on a game when I have hundreds in the backlog and only a few hours of free time each week.

The xbox one x is going to run you 60 dollars extra just to get online.

With this pc, you have an AM4 mobo meaning you can upgrade the cpu if you want later.

3 years down the line MS and sony will toss a 400-500 dollar system. Not including the $180 dollars of paid online for those 3 years.

All you have to do is put all that cash into a top tier video card and block them the fuck out. It can be 200-500 dollars.

When I was much younger, I made a PC and skimped on the PSU and used a Logisys. Weeks went by and I noticed my computer would make a farting sound before turning off. I would come home from work, power it on and play but that sound would repeat on rare occasion. Months went by and I heard a really loud fart coming from it with flickering lights followed by some smoke and a smell of burnt rubber and metal.

I love lurking these threads because no matter how both playstation and xbox fans belittle each other comparison cost PCs, I still have a PC build which I built myself using a grand that has lasted the last four years and will continue to last many more with just a single GPU upgrade that I did recently.
While consolefags have to replace the entire hardware, I swapped out a GPU to turn a mid-end build into a top end build.
There is no reason not to build a PC, the only exception is exclusives, which are a shoddy business practice suckering people into buying bad hardware for just a few games.
