Meanwhile, at Tarrey Town /v/...
>>380997107
>''Oh are you here to buy a vacation house?''
>what? I CAN DO THAT?
>''No''
Well fuck you too game
I never got to this part in the game
>>380997812
you already have a house. And a rather pointless one at that.
>>380997107
I always liked the rectangular architecture of the houses.
>>380997812
Fucking this, that old lady needs to burn
>>380997107
Gas the Rito. Race war now.
>>380997107
>that pic
What the fug
I got all towers and 80 shrines and never even saw this
>>380998761
>literally missing the best sidequest and music in the game
AAAAAAAH
>>380998761
And that's why this game is so good. Now go play more.
>>380998761
>missing Tarrey Town
are you a fucking head case?
>>380998487
It's pointless because it's out of the way and ugly, and more importantly because it's NOT IN TARREY TOWN!
>hey anons,
>hurry up and bring me 100 bundles of wood each would ya
>>380998709
Why do you hate birds? Are you jealous of their flight?
>>380999850
It wasnt that hard. Just find a forest and bomb the shit out of it.
>>380997107
>not Tar/v/ey Town
>>380999850
I never understood this meme, the wood was basically nothing given how common trees are (and how fun blowing them up is). Having to go through the damn dialogue every fucking time and waiting for his lazy ass to sit down was painful though, I wish there was just a "buy all" option.
>>380998761
It's actually very easily missable. I didn't find it until I was basically near the end of the game because I never found Hudson in Hateno Village. He's basically hanging around behind the new construction house over there. If you talk to him he let's you buy the house there for a few thousand rupees and then sends one of his guys out on a new project. If you find that guy he sends you on a quest to build up the town that basically spans the entire game since you need one specific person from every major race.
>>380999937
This, I had been bombing trees the whole game and had way more wood than needed.
>>380997107
>terry town
*gets froggy*
I was happy when the wedding happened.
>>380997107
>ywn help build up a comfy town on a plateau in the middle of a lake surrounded by the outdoors and wilderness and then settle down there with your qt brown waifu and have a bunch of children
>>380997107
Thanks for reminding me that there is more land I have yet to discover in this game. Today I played it again whilst on the bus, and I found an island in the middle of a lake which I hadn't been to before. This game is so big, Skyrim blushes.
>>381000487
Meanwhile your fucking ex wont leave you the fuck alone to move on.
>>380997107
Why the FUCK do we live on a fucking cliff next to another cliff near some giant robot death machines?
>>381000905
Where else are you going to live?
>>381000905
the giant robot death machines have been fucking everywhere for like what, a century now?
Is there a name for this style of architecture?
It reminds me of this:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4fEeh-8OFT8
I wish one of the houses was yours after finishing, with more room for displaying weapons.
>>381001458
modular?
>>380998761
I only found Lurelin Village after about 100 hours in the game. Too bad there is not much going on the villages of BotW.
>>381001587
I wish this game had romance options so I could NTR Hudson
>>380997107
If they have explosives in the Zelda universe, how have they not invented firearms? They clearly have some form of gunpowder.
Just picked this up again. Gonna knock off the ~45 shrines I have left. having a great time
>>381001892
Firearms are for weak cowards, that's why
>>381001458
I don't know an exact name but it's a very modern style, a lot of new town homes and apartments are using the cube-like style and unnatural colors to make them burst from their surroundings.
>>381001587
This is particularly bad for us with Amiibo who want to display not only the champion weapons but also the Amiibo specific ones like Ganondorf's Sword.
>>380997107
I'm a bit upset I couldn't get a house in Tarrey town. Akkala is my favorite region in the game. I enjoyed BoTW, but it would have been much better with more side quests like this. I would have been fine with "less" content if it was as meaningful as this quest. If felt like it was almost on the same level as MM side quest. I love the quest that make you feel like Link has had an impact on people in the game, not only making them see him as a hero but also a good person. If Zelda continues to build off botw's gameplay, I hope to see more content like this in the future.
>>381001892
That's a good question, they have cannons so they clearly understand the principle. But nobody has ever made a small cannon?
>>381001458
I like that man's gunpla.
A man who isn't afraid to display his gunpla cannot be a bad man.
>>381001973
>let's swing sharp pieces of metal and blunt weapons into these ancient metal death machines, surely they won't kill us all and ruin the kingdom
vs
>let's fire projectiles at these ancient metal death machines and pierce their innards hopefully hitting something vital instead of trying to beat them to death and getting murdered
>>381001892
In the real world we had explosives for hundreds of years before we had guns
Even so, cannons came first and gorons do have cannons
>>381002187
I hope they continue to support BoTW with DLC for some time instead of going for a new game. It is easier for the developers to make this kind of content in an already established game.
If they make a new one, a lot of development resources will probably go to the boring padding quests that already are in BoTW.
>>380999937
Wtf YOU CAN DO THAT?
I literally have just been chopping trees I've lost so many good weapons just for this side mission the actual fuck
Pic related, it's me gathering wood for my town like a good mayor
NEED THIRTY WOOD
>>380999937
it doesn't matter if it's not hard, it's complete filler
So /v/, could you join the Bolson Construction Co.? I could if I used my middle nameHudson.
>>381002773
>it's complete filler
Hey, guess what BotW is.
>>381001892
Well I assume the only people that would benefit from guns would be those in Hateno, but it seems like they are content enough to just hide behind their fortress wall and try to live a peaceful life.
>>381002563
This is a universe where they had working lasers and giant robots 10000 years in the past. Surely they must be at the point where they can make some small rudimentary handcannons at least.
>>381002789
Every man in Iceland can
>>381002773
Like every quest. Fetch quests out the ass and "Shrine Quests" that reward you with a straight line to a Spirit orb instead of a shrine. The more I look back on this shit game the shittier it gets.
>>381002654
That's adorable, but yes you can. I think it's kinda like getting ore without a hammer though, you'll get more item drops if you use the appropriate tool.
LOL stupid humans living right next to Death Mountain. on a cliff too
What does the Rito do? Fly
What does the Zora do? Swim
What does the Hylian do? Die
>music changes the more inhabitants you get
music changing throughout the game when something changes is my favourite video game trope
>>381002583
That's a fair point. Sadly a lot of the things I want would be added until a new game. I am a sucker for world building through using creatures and monsters. While this is well done with using lizards and bugs in potions. I would really like to see more enemies and boss types. I still enjoyed the game though, but I'd certainly rate it higher if the side quest weren't fetch quest.
>>381002978
I was about to say the game would probably have a lot more drinking and cursing if they employed icelandic people, but that's finland.
>>381003142
I agree. I also enjoy games that have the base music for the area/level and it has minor changes and variations depending on what section you're on. The beach level in Banjo Kazooie is one of the best example of this.
>Spend 18 hours looking for Bolson
>He's right behind the fucking house
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOW
>>381003702
I thought the other builders tell you where he is?
>>381003013
I want bodyguard quests like Cremia´s quest in MM
>*blocks ur path*
Bet someone at nintendo thought it was real fucking funny to make these things track you for 10 miles
>>381002940
To be fair I always imagined the lasers were because magic, and the robots were found so the people living today probably have no idea how they're built or what to do with them.
Also civilization is relatively peaceful aside from Ganon and what use does a gun have when theres no war. Hunting is still best done with a bow
