They're probably taking their time with it. They have to know at this point going the ACTION MICHAEL BAY route like most of 6 was will piss of their fans.

I think the 'worst' they might do is try to give it an over the shoulder view like in re4 at least, if they have to change just -one- major thing that should be the only thing they change.

Then again the tank-controls + pre-rendered areas still worked worked well in the first REmake.

But they announced it a while ago so....tgs might show something

Sony's boss said they purposely held back things at e3 so, maybe saving REmake 2 for tgs was one of those things

They did a poll and classic gameplay won over RE4 gameplay.
I have a friend who's only ever played 4 and jacks off to how cool Leon is, yet has never played 2. Even refuses to play 1 on Steam. When he heard that classic gameplay won, he got really pissy. I was happy.

I'm playing The Evil Within complete edition now since it was 15 bucks on psn. Almost feels like what 5 and 6 should have strived to be. The game needs a bit of polish with the camera and some of the lack of tight character movements but overall the atmosphere, story and action leave me wanting more.
