Not really. It would have been nice if there was more focus on catching monsters and interacting with classic Final Fantasy characters, instead it had the charm of a mobile game. Beautiful areas, with ridiculously annoying mouse puzzles. Also the bad end is the default first ending.

Get a PSTV for $40, hack it, and play it. If it sucks, then you still have a big library of other games, free of charge. There you go.

I had more fun with it at least. It was pretty long if you do all the optional content and super bosses and there're some really good ones. The music is surprisingly good and the stacking mechanic is a nice addition to the usual turn based system.It also had a nice first credit roll.

It was closer to being FF than 15. Both pros and cons (like corridorlike areas).
I enjoyed it more. Monsters were cute, though I wish human chibis looked differently.
I would like more diversity in monsters skills and stats. Also longer story mode as well as more bonus dungeons. Bassically more of everything.

I was surprised that litearlly everything was voiced every single line even from random NPCs. Really fun game with good end game content

After playing both, no not really. FFXV felt like a grand adventure in an FF. WOFF just felt like an FF theme park, and it just felt like WOFF couldn't stand on its own feet which is why it shoehorned in FF characters from other games into it. WoFF has its charm but it's not better than XV.

There was a video interview Tabata did last year, someone asked him why they are doing VR and he said Sony paid them to do it, so they had the deal in place for a while. The VR thing they did last year was like a tech demo version for what the VR would be, they modified it to be fishing but you also shoot a crossbow at the daemon fish in it.

U wot? WoFF had a much grander, significantly better written, story with actual character development and twists.
Did you even play it or just wrote it off as not-Pokemon with FF fanservice? Whether you perfer the aesthetics or gameplay is opinion, but as far as the writing goes it's light years ahead of the unfinished hackneyed garbage that is XV.

Depends on what you want i guess, i had a lot more fun with WoFF. Some nice characters, artstyle was fine imo, but i can understand that some don't like it, great music, endgame content especially edngame bosses and the stacking mechanic is great. The story was a bit generic, but it had some surprising time travel shit and multiple endings etc.
And it had Balamd Garden, that makes it even better
