Just a quick post here to tell you anons that none of you know suffering until you're sitting on an air cooled, four cylinder motorcycle in 30+c, in black leathers and a full face helmet.

You stress about your several hundred dollar PC overheating, shutting down, and maybe being damaged?
What about sitting on a bomb that could detonate and send shrapnel out of the engine? What if it tears open the gas tank and spills fuel on the engine?
That light is red and your engine's already getting hotter, and hotter. You can feel the air wafting up in your face. The smell of gas and oil in your nose. You hear the slightest change in the engine's idle pattern. It could go slower, or faster, it still makes you nervous.
A minute passes by, and you are sweating buckets.
Finally, green. The traffic queue moves slower than molasses. You head off and kick up the gears early, in hopes to keep the revs down, so it cools better.
All for nothing, because the next light is red.
And the next one.
And the next one.

Idling temp is kinda high. CPU temp is alright to warm/hot, you might want to check online to see what the safe operating temps for your CPU/GPU are.

You may also want to consider trying to clean your laptop's innards of dust. Try seeing if there's a manual or guide for how to clean your specific brand of laptop.
