At least the e3 demo looks better so that helps. I doubt it will be like SFXT & that the comparison is being drawn because of DLC & the Infinity Stones. Then again Injustice 2 has even more DLC & has the same amount of characters on the roster, but then again not all of it is reused assests & it looks better. The only thing Capcom can do now is delay the game, fix DLC scheduling, like make Sigma & BP not fucking DLC, expand the roster, then change the DLC Character list. They only have my interest because the gameplay is good, & I've never been a stickler on graphics anyway, it looks great in motion, but I don't want another SFV Ken on characters like Chun, Cap, Dante, & Rocket. The jank characters stick out more than the decent-to-good looking characters & have attracted more attention.

If they delayed the game, I bet they would push the first season to 2018 instead of adding Sigma, Black Panther and the rest to the base roster.

While a few characters stand out this is a pretty unimpressive roster on both sides. It's like they purposefully removed all of the oddball characters from 3. You can't even just blame the MCU for the Marvel side because there are still way better choices than what they went with. Capcom has literally no excuse though.

Do you really think that a fighting game with such rushed development that characters are literally slapped together in a few weeks is going to be problem-free outside of the graphics? I doubt they've done much in the way of testing for it and I'm really not feeling it with stuff like how the Infinity Stones work. Doom was OP as fuck and missles should be nerfed but picking character solely for his support capabilities is pretty legit tactic. It's called "team synergy".

Every character should have shortcomings and neutralizing them via assists was pretty vital in UMvC3.

See She-Hulk for example. In MvC3, as a solo character she was barely useful but with proper assists she could become deadly point character. And yet again they took her ability to call assists during Runner and she became useless even as a point

This is the first time I want something to be bad. Let's ignore the bad models and stiff animations, let's ignore that the gameplay is currently questionable.

They announced a DLC character almost a year before release, not just the season pass, but who the character was with a model. They also announced a second one by putting him in a trailer months before release (yes I know TRA, manufacturing etc.) but showing him in the story doing shit means either he's done or they spent time on making him a story character instead of a gameplay character for launch.

This is disgusting, they might as well just go xTekken and put the characters in the the launch version but lock the key behind the season pass. At least xTekken didn't put the characters in the trailers as far as I remember.

There isn't an in game currency with which to buy the characters, so you can't even make the SFV excuse of "well they're technically free". This is total nonsense.

Mvc is my favorite series.
I am a die hard marvel comics collector.
I refuse to touch this game. I dont care if it is going back to its roots with 2v2 and no assists, I want 3 on 3. No mutants, dlc out the ass already, bad gfx, horrible roster choice. Only way I would possibly play is to wait a year for the "full" normal game. And only for like 20 bucks. The opening roster is a slap in the face to mvc fans. Barebones as hell.
