I´m looking for games that that cut the bullshit and let me play the core gameplay asap.
No unskipable tutorials, no hours of story before i can get to the meat of it,
Just videogames that want to be PLAYED.
You guys have some recommendations?

You´re right. I´m thinking Action, RPG´s and strategy games. Indies are fine too.

>strategy
starcraft and age of empires both have free play where you can go right into playing a standard game
the campaigns in both start out with tutorial stuff but you can skip levels with cheat codes to move on to more difficult ones. their difficulty ramps up fast, anyway.
>rpg
older rpgs for early game consoles like nes, snes, gb/c, etc. tend to have very little in the way of tutorials. action rpgs usually don't have much in the way of tutorials, but they tend to start off less difficult in the beginning and with a more limited skillset. that said, d2 at least starts throwing lots of enemies at you at least midway through act 1, although they all die pretty fast and don't hurt much and you don't get the cool aoe abilities until usually around like level 18 or higher.
a lot of metroidvanias don't have much in the way of tutorials, they just throw you right into stuff. super metroid and metroid prime both have small opening segments, but super metroid's is like 2-3 minutes before it throws you right in; metroid prime's is probably closer to half an hour but it does have a boss and it only throws basic gameplay tips at you for like the first minute or two iirc. the few castlevania games i've played throw you right in, no tutorials at all. indie metroidvanias also tend to do this including the erogame ones
also for strategy, the civilization games throw you right into shit and leave you to figure it out; they compensate for this by having an extremely large difficulty scale, the lowest of which you can do everything wrong and be completely retarded and still win (even for new people i usually recommend starting on the second lowest unless they're casuals). my favorite is civ4-bts but civ5-bnw is also good; i'd wait a bit on civ6 until they've made a few expansions for it.

>>380977259
Starcraft 1 - 2, Civilisation V, all metroid games ( unless you count fangames) i played them all.
Diablo is not an option for me. Clicking enemys into submission until something sparkly comes out of them for hours is not cutting it anymore after playing the from software game.

Looks like a horror version of Ziggurat i might check this out.

Playing it whenever my brother is visiting.

Issen´t there a new platformer from the same guys? Binding of isaac was fun too.
>>
>>380978032
d2 isn't really about clicking enemies, it's more about coming up with good builds and using those builds effectively to counter what the game throws at you, especially on hell difficulty where the game throws all sorts of complete bullshit at you and you have to counter with complete bullshit of your own to get by. thinking the game is about clicking enemies to get loot is what the d3 devteam thought and it's why d3 sucks; it misses the point of what made d2 a good game.

I see. I only played 3 for a bit so i had no idea.
But please tell me, how many times do you have to rebuild or actaully adapt to any situation like this in the first 3 - 4 hours? I´m affraid things might only get this interresting in the late game.
>>380976453
OK
>>
>>380978824
idk, might not be your kind of game, you don't usually need to worry too much about planning your build until you get to nightmare. i'm more just defending it as not being about clicking and loot. imo the game's difficulty is pretty easy until at least late normal/early nightmare. the early act bosses can be a bit difficult, though.

Alien Shooter

You shoot aliens. Many aliens. Maybe more aliens than 200 other games about shooting aliens combined.

>>380978032
You should check out Jedi Outcast and Jedi Academy. They have got excellent third person action gameplay.

Clearly a lot of people post with massive levels of autism which prevent them from being able to read an obvious joke.
I also like Frogger

Snake > Frogger.
If you don´t agree you don´t know shit about videogames.
