Don't. I played it for 200 hours and still feel ripped off.
Every character always does the same stuff, there is no room for changing gameplay other than swapping characters. It gets boring very quickly.

The game is a shit show and is only fun if played with friends and to just fuck around. Most fun I had out of that game was when I decided to be a Genji main in QP for the fuck of it.

Well, you certainly came to the wrong place to ask that question. The game sold well and is still very popular, so most answers you are going to get will be along the lines of >>380970294

The game is not a MOBA and not like TF2, but I suppose you already know that if you have seen any footage of the game at all. If you are into shooters that are focused around 6v6 team fights, then you will most likely have fun with the game. A ll the heroes play differently and require different skill sets, so there is pretty much a character for everyone, no matter if you come from a shooter background or not. Some require good mechanical aim, others you can only play well if you have good game sense and know what is happening all the time and so on.

Also, unlike pretty much every other shooter coming out these days, this game does not have a progression system. Meaning you don't unlock new perks, weapons or anything like that when you play. There are cosmetic items you can get, but only get the game if you actually want to play the game, not if you want some sense of progression.

Still you're better of watching some gameplay or reading up on the game, people here will only give you a sentence or two at most about how shit everything is.

Probably the most fun online game I've played since vanilla TF2. If you have friends or a group to play with you'll get beyond your money's worth. The community is a bunch of whiny faggots most of the time though even in unranked quickplay/arcade

Pharah's the equivalent of a wasp in the game and Sombra's essentially a mosquito. You don't know that she's fucking your shit up until it's to late.
People who get good with her are the most infuriating thing I've ever experienced, especially when they focus on the top players and then teleport away over and over, completely shifting the focus and flow of the target's team.
