I've tried so many times to get into this game. I find the setting to be very interesting but it's not a fun game and how it's structured is far too linear for me. I don't really understand why people adore this game. It's pretty bad honestly.

I agree with Metro, though. I don't see what the hype was about. I bought the collection, but stopped after beating the first game. Boring, linear levels with dark, uninteresting environments and a lame plot.
