I can only imaging how shit it must be for some 19 year old apprentice trying to escape the world. I always liked coming back to gta years later to play the game over with tons of mods installed. I really liked that redux mod. Having played the ps3 version only during launch, it was like a whole new game to me. Even did it with gta 4 when icenhancer was a thing and tons of graphics and gameplay mods existed.

That's why I jumped into pc gaming in the finest place, mods. After seeing mods for zombies, I was dead set on getting pc. It was crazy seeing random people make maps that were 10x better than what the devs made.

Like it or not, if it's a skin you could buy, then it's right to pay for it, regardless if others or just you can see it. Riot obviously has no money problems, but videogames are still a service and a business in the end, and LoL is a game where it's 100% possible to rise through the ranks without spending a dime and in roughly the same amount of time as anything else, something which is almost impossible in other f2p games such as Hearthstone.
