Something with real time combat and army management and third person view, otherwise a 2D platformer with customizable attacks
Basically like the Meta Knightmare modes except with the enemies and bosses tailor made for MK. For example, a bigger focus on combat.

There's a game on Kirby super star ultra where you play as meta knight, so like that if on 3DS. If on switch then just give it smash bro graphics, but keep it a side scroller.

It would be a strange story focused prequel that explains his dark and sad story, beginning with him as an actual knight for some kingdom and such.
It's truly the most interesting thing to do with the character as it is now. If I wanted to make some good action game I just wouldn't use the kirby IP.
