Everyone talking shit about the best party being with Ann or Haru for damage or even Morgana for healing, it's nonsense,

The only party that makes any sense is Joker/Makoto/Ryuji/Yusuke.

Joker keeps Debilitate on the boss, the other 3 keep all 3 buffs on your entire party.

Having Joker also have to keep Heat Riser on himself massively lowers the output of your strongest member. Yes Haru can do Heat Riser, but only to one person, so you lose damage or take more damage.

Ann and Morgana's debuffs are both covered by Debilitate, so they don't bring anything useful either. Taking Morgana in place of Makoto means you take more damage, especially with how squishy he is, Makoto brings more damage to the table too.

Ryuji is the highest DPS behind Joker, so he's a natural fit even without his buff. Taking Haru or Ann instead of Yusuke means your party dodges a lot less, so you're knocked down more and eat more eneny turns. Which is doubly bad when the opponent has Dejaka since you have to spend another of Joker's turns debuffing.

The exception to this is the Twins Fight, where you go without Debilitate and use Ann for her debuff.
