Aisling is not a name for mythological characters, it's literally a word for "dream" or "illusion" and also a particular poetic genre that often tackled fairytale-esque dream themes - that is where the association with fairies and pale visage came from, later made popular by Hamilton. None of them really focus on the idea of small child or a girl, not even on necessary white hair.
I find much more probably that they folks who made that character have seen Secret of Kells than that they had read Meredith Gentry or Saki.

Battleborn's Incursion mode has two towers on each side with one creep lane and some mercenary camps on the sides.
Gigantic is a little more tricky. There are control points where you summon creatures to collect power points so they're a combination of creeps and towers in one. Once a team has collected 100 points, their guardian will go on a rampage. The rampaging guardian will pin down its rival so its team can wound the enemy guardian. Any points the defending team has will be used as a shield for their guardian's weak spot. The attacking team's points are the duration for the pin. Any player death will add the shield or prolong the pin. A guardian must be wounded a total of three times to end the match.

The game is pretty different from what it was during the closed beta in terms of gameplay, I dropped it when they took away the list of perk selections, they just dumbed it down to shit and there's no way to make how you play feel different because there's like 2 perks per slot now as opposed to the 4. It might not sound like much, but the build variety is kinda all the game had since at the time there were some specifically OP monsters, so everyone spawned the same shit. I guess new people will like it but it just seems that they shit on all the old players.
