It's a good indication of what the average person thinks, just not /v/. Everyone on here hates Skyrim and MGS5, but they both have high metacritic scores and were very well received by the general public.

I like metacritics user review scores. Even with all the undeserved 0's and 10's looking at the average and the general feedback from actual users has usually always been about where I would ate a game.

"Professional" critic reviews are, of course, always shit and never reliable.
