They still swing slow and heavy. Pretty sure the tips of must ultra greatswords rest on the ground after the swing.

It introduced a few mechanics that I actually liked, like parrying with Ultras and attack cancelling, even though I think the latter was introduced by accident via a bug in a patch.

I really wanted to like this game, I tried liking it. I beat it twice, but it just left a bad taste in my mouth. I think I'd rather play Dante's Inferno again.

It honestly felt like someone slapped together the concepts of the last few popular games he played like God of War, Shadow of Collossus and Prince of Persia, then read a Castlevania wiki and slapped some names they could find onto their characters and locations which gets especially obvious with Wygol Village and Cornell.
