This is legit the first gen in my entire life where I don't own all the consoles. I have each console from every gen since the snes except this one. I feel like i wouldn't be missing out on much by skipping xbox now.

Holy crap it was terrible. It was like current gen except the roles are reversed.
I knew I made the right decision once Sony began to shit out exclusives left and right in the following years while Xbox stayed stagnant. Almost every single exclusive got a minimum 9 score too. Xbox team kinda fucked up by focusing on kinect so hard rather than pumping out the exclusives.

I miss 7th gen. It was so dam comfy

For me it's less out of loyalty, more out of "Is playing this game/franchise really worth purchasing a new console and paying to play online for?". And the answer is no. Did i miss out on the Halo franchise? Maybe, but I doubt it was worth the cost of a new console.
