Fix PhysX on my GTX 1070 because the game is unplayable with it on.

The biggest offender is the nonlinear scaling of the game. Picking up a legendary only to have it outdone 5 levels later by fucking white rarity guns takes all of the satisfaction out of getting the legendary at all.

I could go on forever about game balance like most people who've played the series at this point, but just as important to me is how the game is structured. It takes 2-3 playthroughs to get one character to max level normally, and it's awful going through the same linear thing 3 times getting the story shoved down your throat every time, and it's worse than that because the gameplay gets more interesting as you gain levels so for most of the time you're stuck with a gimped character.
Basically don't make me want to kill myself considering the prospect of trying someone new and it will feel more like a Diablo inspired game than it currently does.

Writing comes last because I think the game's biggest flaws are the bullet sponges, the MMO-tier farming and how rarely you find good weapons

dodge-able projectiles is just good game-play design, it extends gameplay outside of soaking damage and taking cover at the right times, and freedom of movement does as well. When I say "doom" style movement I just mean fast. Since it's borderlands, they could get even crazier with the movement if they wanted too.

They were trying to "fix" the situation in the first game where you find a high rarity gun that caried you for dozen levels by icreasing enemy scaling AND lowering droprate of higher rarity guns,wich leaves you shooting white (green at best) spitballs at enemies with masive hp pools that twoshot you instead of oneshoting because of the healthgate mehanic. Either make enemies scale linearly or increase the drop rates from wow tier to something more apropriate for a 1P game.

Works fine on my gtx 1070. You sure you have physx settings set up right in nvidia control panel? I get 100+ fps with physx on max, 1440p with reshade. Doesn't make the game fun, tho. I always quit an hour in due to boring fetch quests.

I know you need to defend your babby game because you can't admit the only reason why you played it is because you are such a fucking smoothbrain that the dopamine trickle shallow lootgrind actually fucking worked on you.

Borderlands is incredibly low skill compared to basically every other fps. Aim at critical points with the right elementally infused weapon (instead of actually designing good enemies that organically cause you to switch weapons) while using your skills, duck behind cover when your health gets low or while you wait for your skill to recharge, repeat. How fun, surely it was that compelling gameplay that you like and not the toddler like thrill you got at getting a shiny toy that made big numbers appear!

Relics that are built around co-op play.
Combo attacks.
Can keep multiple skill tree builds.
Keep the randomization pool from BL1 and apply it to all white green and blue rariity guns.
Purple and guns are rarer and always have higher stats and are fairly overpowered ability wise E-tech weapons are far far more rare more powerful and have fantastic effects.
Legendaries have the awesome game breaking effects that makes farming them more then worth it and they also can level up along with you for about ten or so levels.
I haven't played the other classes so..
I think Axton's trees should be built around being better with weapons and grenades culminating with him having far more damage overall with all weapons, Having greater survivability then others, with shield and health and grenade throwing when downed etc.
The last is built aorund improving and working with the turret. Nuke when thrown Gemini Shield improvement with multiple points

Actually have a melee focused class that doesn't need to use the melee as a ability

Also, they should add optional content that is not part of the main story. You play as a vault hunter, so give me some vaults to hunt for. Just for loot and some crazy bossfights, and not because I need to find some MacGuffin to stop some evil bloke.

It is a pretty good argument, when some of the strength of the gameplay of the new Doom would drastically improve on what Borderlands is.

For example, the dynamic movement the jumppacks brought to the pre-sequel are seen as one of the biggest improvements and selling points. This alone is enough to prove, that Borderlands could profit from a more dynamic flow.

Or if you are so adamantly against naming Doom as a reference for what he means, take Bulletstorm, which also had an exhilarating rush to the way you fought and moved during combat.

Multiple abilities for each class.

Ability to modify/enhance a gun via some sort of crafting. I say this just because resetting the game just to get a certain variant of a gun that is exclusively a quest reward, is tedious. Allow me to just take the fucking quest reward and alter it to what I was looking for to begin with with some mats and/or effort.

Make the talents a bit more engaging, particularly early game talents.
