I don't think there's ever been an MMO that's had launch problems that are both this severe AND this simple to fix.

There are plenty of MMO launches that are unstable, buggy disasters. But it's almost always due to general server instability, or some far-reaching bug that's difficult to nail down, or widespread issues that are difficult to intentionally reproduce. Or really anything that's actually understandably difficult for the developers to solve.

Stormblood's problems are (or were, before they let them fester for a full 30+ hours) extremely easy to solve, but they just CHOSE not to. That's not normal, even by the standards of an MMO launch.
