Do you prefer to play online or offline?

Online because it makes me feel like I'm not alone.

Either works.

Mostly play singleplayer due to cancer DLC splitting communities and making games shit.

Offline because I like playing at my own pace and doing shit I want to do instead of what my team wants.
Plus my backlog is so big most games have dead online by the time I get to them.

for FPS games, online. i'm one of the few people who actually was very interested in PvP for DOOM and also the upcoming Destiny 2. I just like competing. for everything else, offline. fighting games, for example, i'm fucking terrified to go online because it's not within my established skillset so i'd rather play the story

I've already thought about this. I like competing but I'm not going to drop what I like competing in to move to a different genre, too much of an investment for potentially little payoff.
