Look for the gereral in /vg/ for more info. The free to play can give you a taste but has a lot, a lot of limitations, you will have to sub or pay some real money on unlocks.

You can get to max level without a sub but it's a pain with lower xp gain/mount speed. Just buy a month and level as many classes to max as you can since their stories are amusing or fun.
