The only time I actually thought "why did I go with this" was when I respec'd to pyro/sorc.

Maybe I don't know how to do this but after dropping 40 to int+faith and using the rest for some str/att all I did was use magic/pyromancy repeatedly and keep hoping mob/boss dies someday. Then I went back melee/dex, brought out the dragonslayer greataxe and everything dies in 1-3 hits max.

Had a rod in +9, DLC pyromancy to +10, most end level spells/pyromancies on deck, buff rings and some other things I might be forgetting. Melee was and still seems better to me, especially now that I 40'd faith on NG+.

I don't want to go to /vg/, is being a tank viable? I had a hard time tanking when the game came out, and dropped it after completing it once. I know it won't ever be like DaS 2 ;_; , but still.
