Made my character in Fallout 1 a complete retard with 1 intelligence. Upon getting to the military base that you're supposed to blow up to beat the game, I found myself unable because you apparently need to hack a computer, which is beyond my character's comprehension. I've been looking for mentats to boost my intelligence, but they're apparently rare as fuck, and I can't find any. Any insight short of "start a new character" would be appreciated.
