A fairly interesting game but overall too flawed to be anything greater then average. Disk 2 is basically a VN as they had no budget and wanted to wrap up three disks worth of content into one.

Disc 1 is 1/4 good setup and 3/4 tedious filler.
Disc 2 is the shit that should have been on Disc 1, but it's a novel, not a game.

No, the combat system uses combo inputs. This sounds awesome in theory, but in practice you'll just be spamming the best move you have unlocked.

The mobs are also annoying as fuck instead of challenging, the encounter rate is high, and there are WAY too few songs for a 100+ hour game.

Shit gameplay and 2deep4you story

The game actually isn't especially grindy but the combat is EXTREMELY shallowand repetitive. The moves look pretty at least. The story is an everything and the kitchen sink scifi fantasy epic ala FF, but I found it very entertaining. Good location variety, fun party members, lots and lots of shyamalan twists.
