Guns were overpowered

Dante lacked ANY fucking charm

Capcom somehow decided to not call back the first team who made DMC1 (aka Kamiya & co) and put a mysterious random director to direct the sequel who gave up half way in charge and Capcom called Itsuno (and still not Kamiya) to "save" DMC2 halfway in development.

Trish uses the DMC1 moveset, but they managed to fuck it up a bit. Trish is just a costume that you can use over Dante or Lucia's mode.

From an aesthetic and artistic point of view it was 10/10

but DMC3 is just the motherfucking KING.

I don't see the fuss over 2's dante design, not a fan. Then again I'm not especially fond of any dante design in particular but 2 I really don't like
