Yeah. I even prefer Persona 4. Persona 5 is just so baffling to me. They went to pain staking detail to massively improve the one part of the game that is literally designed to be rushed through.

The amount of exposition is fucking insane too. In my memory the whole game is just a blur of the boring main cast sitting in Potter-kuns room explaining the plan of action over and over and over again.

Also theres no overarching plot for the majority of the game which made me completely apathetic to the progression of the Phantom Thieves because their was no end goal, just hope theres another villain of the week to sort out. Such a disappointment

Both games have their fair share of bullshit, the most I can agree on is that some people will prefer one over the other, but neither is objectively better than the previous one. I find 4's bullshit much more egregious than 3's, as least from a development standpoint. It's like they didn't know what the fuck they were doing, honestly.

All dungeons in P4 are just a slightly stretched out sets of Tartarus floors, have badly paced enemies and are fucking annoying with having to run through them bottom to the top and backtrack just to open a fucking door at the beginning, with the key you've gotten from the mini-boss at the bottom. And don't even get me started at the lack of easily accessible teleports, or that jewish fucking fox that wants bazzilions of your money for simple healing.

You're essentially shitting on P4 by shitting on Tartarus. It's all tedious fucking bullshit, at least in P3 there's an easier means of dealing with it.
