So i gave that free trial a try and i kinda like it so far but already reached 35.I want to buy the game + expacs but i figured i'd ask here first in case there's a way to get it cheaper than 25€ (for the main game)+ 35€ for Stormblood (since from what i've seen it includes the older expansion) ? Although i saw in the store FF14 costing only 9.99€, should i go for that instead?

They fixed most of the awful things about PLD: damage buffs everywhere, Shield Oath at level 30, spammable damage AoE at level 46, blocking works on magic damage, new offensive skills (Requiescat and Holy Spirit) and a pretty neat party-wide defensive cooldown.
I don't think it will change your mind if you just don't like tanking at all, but PLD certainly is a lot better now.

Level 35 here. Lost all drive to play because I feel like I'm being left out.

Levelign and going through things for the first time is the best part of this game. Don't rush it, it's an mmo, the endgame is just grinding dailies and maybe raiding if you get into that. Have fun and enjoy the game.

Actually, as far as MMO launches go, it's not that bad considering we can still log in and play pretty reliably. The issue is that they had the bright idea to lock the entire expansion behind the MSQ and then funnel thousands of players through the one instance you need to access the rest of the content. So instead of just having one effectively-broken quest that everyone could skip past and come back to when things are better, what you have instead is a massive wall that is straight up keeping people from progressing. It's less to do with the normal launch day server hiccups and more to do with them being completely incompetent game designers.

I've never been to an SB dungeon yet but I'm wondering how does it feel like? I mean literally every class got dumbed down and everyone's rotation is shorter now, braindead even. I've been to HW dungeons and it feels kinda boring especially since I'm a healer main and my main attacks are literally 1 dot and 1 spell. I'm hoping everything gets better once I get all 60+ skills.

Can't decide between WoW, FFXIV, or BDO.
