They theoretically could, but the PS4 and Xbox versions don't even run particularly great, so I don't think I'd trust fromsoft. They really are just kinda bad from a technical perspective.

Honestly they should do with dark souls 1 what they did with dark souls 2 for pc and new consoles. Dark souls 1 for pc/xbone/ps4/switch with bugles true 60 fps on all platforms and working multiplayer would be glorious.
