But Link is decent in Sm4sh. They even upped his dash attack to the point that it's a kill move.

That aside, Link has never been a terrible fighter in any Smash. He's always been pretty middle of the road.

Link is mediocre in every Smash game except Smash 4 and he still has a lot holding him back. Most of his top tier matchups aren't good at all and they are the most common tournament characters.
