How do I make Skyrim a fun experience? Hear me out, not even trolling here. The problem is, when I played the game when it first came out, I quickly realized I could mass forge daggers to quickly gain access to the best craftable shit while still being a "noob" in everything else. Couple hours later I quit the game because I had no more reason to search for better loot. I have 1226 hours and I've only ever beat the main questline, dlcs, civil war, factions, etc. once. more fun than actual combat

I truly enjoy these screenshots, I just can't understand why someone would spend their time on creating them. With what little I know it's a pretty big commitment. Searching for poses, installing the pose mod, finding and setting up a nice location ingame, actually activating the pose, finding a good place for the "camera" etc. Seems like a humongous waste of time and life energy, I'd never have the patience to create them myself, but I'm still thankful for other people taking their time for them

I've explored every inch of Skyrim twice over. Is there a mod that makes the world feel fresh again?

Skyrim doesn't seem fun unless you set up arbitrary limitations. Everything is so retardedly overpowered once you get crafting skills going.

Current character:
>Can't use potions/enchantments that fortify crafting skills. Only the Sallow Regent buff and Ahzidal's set.
>Use one-handed + magic, the shittiest combat style in terms of effectiveness
>No armor, clothing only
>Can't make skills legendary
>Must master and utilize all schools of magic and learn all spells
>Not allowed to abuse vampire necromage

Even with this, it's still a matter of clicking until the target dies. There's barely any aiming, nothing to dodge, no planning. At least everything doesn't drop in one hit, and my mage armor caps out at only 350 with the Lord Stone. I died to a dual-wielding power attack earlier, so I have to pay some attention at least.

Yeah, I was pretty disappointed when I started playing this, swordmage was my preferred playstyle in previous games.

So I got SE for free but haven't played Skyrim in ages. I notice that SKSE isn't updated for it.

Is it worth playing the game with SE or is original Skyrim with SKSE still way better?

There are just so many mods that require SKSE that SSE isn't worth it.

You can blame Bethesda for that, btw, as the devs of the Skript Extenders used to get help from beth devs, but that stopped with the release of SSE.
