For those of you who haven't seen it, we're proud to announce that Mario is getting his ''speedrun-friendly'' movement back, which you can see in this video(highly recommend you watch)

So there we have it folks. 64 and Sunshine are finally getting another sequel.
Treehouse guy yesterday confirmed that you will have more than one encounter with each of the Brutals, each one of them getting harder.
Why is this important? Because it disproves the theory that there's only 5 worlds. Everyone that talks about the game on the Treehouse mentions how much there is to do in the game, and I don't think they would say that if there was only 5 worlds. Then again, who knows eh?
>what world would you like?
>what do you think of Mario's new moveset? (same as 64 and Sunshine with slower movement at normal run speed, faster movement after 5 uninterrupted seconds of running where Mario lifts his hands up)
>what other characters would you like to see in the game?
>is this the next SM64
>NG+ with Luigi?
I CAN'T FUCKING WAIT
you really don't need to chain threads together

I'm not moving to /vg/ friend
Which Mario game does the design of this most closely resemble. I've only seen a few videos and the Moons seem like they can be acquired pretty quickly. Not sure how I feel about the clips I saw of Mario talking to "real" people can getting Moons either. I saw a bit of the desert world and it looked like he got a few moons quickly too. If there are only the 8 or so moons per each world like Mario 64, or Sunshines Stars and Shines...if feels like this game will be really short.

That's not what I was implying at all.
