I got BDO a couple days ago and it's pretty fun. Some classes are fairly mediocre, but a few like the Striker are very enjoyable. He's like playing a mix of God Hand and DMC3 Beowulf.

Don't know whether they've added it or not relatively recently but I got pop ins regardless of settings. Some made it slightly better because lods stopped changing every 5 meters, but 15 instead, but they were still noticeable, especially with trees. And there are a lot of trees.

GCD? No, it's a pure action game.

Some skills have a cooldown of a few seconds, but each class has so many moves that the short cooldown is less of a limiter and more of a means of encouraging you to use everything you got. The cooldown for any one move is short enough that you could use the same handful of combos in succession and never have to wait.

In BDO, you can't even go to a fucking area that's a few levels above you lest you not even be able to do a single point of damage to enemies.
