I've never had an issue with feinting. When I saw hitbox manipulation is what killed the game for me. I place the original Age of Chivalry before this game came out which was awesome... but then a group of guys figured out they can just turn around and look up to modify hitboxes and force the strongest hit in no time flat. I fucking hated it and I quit the game because of it.

I am not a scrub i can consistently win againts good players(rank 50 above) when it is a regular battle without feints.Feinting is jsut a boring excuse of a mechanic that was implemented very poorly because Steve Piggott is a faggot.There is literally no way to react to Sow, HWS or any other weapon that can attack faster than a second.It is just a bad game design and it is really amusing how babies like you defend it since gambling with feints is the only way you can play the game.

The mind game is part of the skill. The easier feint to predict is the revenge one, when you use a feint against someone and kill it you're guaranteed to have touched his ego and that he'll feint back during the next encounter, which generally happens fast since the guy is just so blinded by vengefulness he'll rush at you. The second one is when a duel lasts too long. The third one is when you spot a douchebag using them all the time, in this case you have to be extra aggressive, which works great with fast weapons.

Otherwise you can read them if you have Korean level reflexes and a good computer. Dragging gets old after a certain point and all other bollocks moves like reverse overheads are absolute cancer and I can't wait for Mordhau for this reason. I played this game 1100+ hours and ended up playing exclusively with the holy water sprinkler so I wasn't forced to use those counter-intuitive techniques to win.

yeah, like I said, they released the gestir as the first of the third set of classes in like 2007, and then released man-at-arms in the last few years

that's the time it took them to make 3 character models, 9 weapons (some of them reused), some voice lines and some balance

a shame too since the later classes were supposed to be more interesting with shit like whips and caltrops and healing and all that

I haven't played Chivarly in a long time but I just remember feinting basically being one free kill they would get on me. After that, you know they're a player who feints and beating them is just as easy as anyone else, you just have to take a slightly different approach and remember what colors/emblem they have.

Basically every match;

>No trouble killing anyone
>One guy is a feinter, surprises and kills me
>Know to look out for him, but thereafter have no trouble killing him
>Humble him out of spite even

I know there are great players who incorporate feinting into everything else they do, but they were a diamond dozen in my experience, a rare thing indeed. Much more common, like 9/10 times, they were just feinters who relied exclusively on feinting and that was all they did to try and be good.
