Some N3DS's get TN screens as well, my N3DSXL got a TN bottom screen and an IPS top screen.

IPS screens are better, they can be viewed at any angle and show a slightly higher quality picture. Having one on your 3DS seems to be luck of the draw, some systems have IPS for both screens, only for top screen or TN only. As far as I know, all N3DSXL models sold recently at least have an IPS top screen, but N3DS models are completely random.

If you have TN screens, you probably wouldn't notice the difference much apart from not being able to view from an angle.

I have one and I've always had problems with the controls. Shit would hurt after a while because it's damn small.

Anyways, do you think this cheap piece of shit would make it bearable?

Why does Nintendo not sell the standard New 3DS in North America? I prefer the smaller size plus those faceplates were a good idea.

I still have my Aqua Blue O3DS. Don't have any problems and it still works fine. I'd like to upgrade but I really don't have a reason to since I want to get a Switch and the 3DS is near it's end.

It's shitty to be an o3DS owner at this point. You can't sell that for much towards a purchase of a newer model.
